Author's Name: Maya Z.    Written Age: 9   Traveled Age: 1-9
On a hot summer day, there is a festival. It is called the Running of the Bulls.
Everybody who comes to the festival is wearing red and white. There are giants going up and down the streets. There are two different types of giants. One type of giant is royal and enormous. The royal giants have a king and queen. The queen has a crown and a beautiful dress. The king has a crown and handsome clothes. The second type of giant is an intimidating giant. They are men that wear green, and they carry a foam bat. Their job is to bop people in the crowd on the head. I remember feeling like I was going to cry when I got bopped on the head.
The best part of the festival are the bulls. The bulls are in their stables when suddenly one hears a loud boom! The bulls come racing out and start chasing the people. There is a hard sidewalk leading to smooth sand, in a white hallway. This leads to a sandy place that looks like a baseball field. As the people come into the baseball field area, there are doors. The doors go to the right or the left. The doors are used for escaping the bulls. The bulls follow the flags because they are attracted to the colors. This gets them safely back in the stables.
If you ever go to the Running of the Bulls get ready to be nervous, excited, and to have an amazing time!
