Welcome! Thank you for sharing your story/pictures. Here are a few guidelines and rules to follow:
- The story must have happened in the last 18 years*
- All stories must be written by adolescents*
- Be open to edits! By submitting the story you agree to editorial suggestions. Specify if you do not wish to have editorial suggestions. You also agree to have your work published.
- Make sure your story has a purpose! When on vacation did you learn something, have a new experience, or meet new people? Tell a story others will be interested in reading, and remember stories do not have to be written as essays.
- Add detail, but no rambling! You want your story to inspire, but too much detail can make a story tedious to read. Each story should be about 1- 3 pages on google docs.
- Yes, you can submit pictures with stories
- Changing Names/ Times… it is perfectly okay to change names and times to respect people’s privacy, but make sure the events in your story actually happened.
- Have enthusiasm! No one should be forced to write, so only write if you want to!
